Equal Human Rights Will Solve Social Problems and Build a Bright Future for Humankind

Equal human rights mean we all must have equal opportunities in life. What is allowed to some must be allowed to everybody else, and vice versa; what is forbidden to some must be forbidden to everybody else. Nothing more is needed to solve social problems, and nothing less can make it. We already have many equal rights. The United Nations has established the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which has contributed to improving the world. We also have the same right to purchase goods on the market, ensuring the market for goods functions effectively. To develop a good society, we need to implement equal human rights everywhere.

We have compromised the equal right to work by allowing unemployment to exist. Unemployed people must accept any job to be able to support themselves, and this can lead to the exploitation of workers. Equal human rights will bring justice to the economy by shortening work hours until unemployment is removed. It will raise the demand for workers and their salaries in the free market until exploitation is eliminated. Then, workers will have greater purchasing power, which will stimulate economic growth, and this will help solve the economic problems of society.

Equal human rights will significantly improve the economy. One day, we will open a competition among workers for every public work post at any time. Every job post will be filled by the worker who offers higher productivity, more responsibility, and demands a lower wage. It is nothing but a developed market of work that is open all the time. Such an economy cannot be realized soon, but once people establish it, private companies will lose the productivity battle with public companies, which will send capitalism down in history.

Ultimately, equal human rights imply that all individuals should have equal access to legislative, judicial, and executive powers within society. The lack of such rights is the main obstacle to reaching a good society. Let’s give everyone equal rights to evaluate other people for whatever they do. Each positive evaluation should be accompanied by a small award for the assessed person, and each negative evaluation will result in a corresponding small punishment. Then, everyone will work hard to please others and avoid hurting anybody. This will create a good society.

I have presented a social system with developed equal human rights in the scientific book Humanism. Once people accept equal human rights, they will begin to solve social problems and build a brighter future for humankind.
