Enjoyment of Life Explained

I believe that equal human rights can lead to the highest level of life enjoyment. This is hard to prove because equal human rights have never existed. Humankind has always suffered under the lack of equal human rights and will continue to suffer until we adopt them.

Today, power over others brings enjoyment, so people invest considerable effort to achieve it. But power over people is an alienated need in human nature, so it can hardly bring satisfaction; people who seek such power are usually not satisfied. Besides, when a stronger person appears, which is inevitable, it hurts those who have power over others significantly. Fame also brings great enjoyment, so people try hard to become famous. When fame inevitably fades, it leaves people in misery. People assign much more value to power and fame than they deserve. The enjoyment coming from the illusions of power and fame is not worth the effort.

Fear of losing power or fame in society and the pain associated with it may be extensive and last a long time. Our nature may seek escape in a perversion of feelings and senses through sadomasochism. The pain brings enjoyment and temporary satisfaction, but it is not a healthy solution, and it cannot last. Sometimes, the escape from inconvenient tension and enjoyment may be found in opiates such as alcohol, cocaine, heroin, and others. It helps just as long as the opiates have their effects, but they could also kill. Seeking enjoyment in power over others or fame cannot yield a positive outcome.

To achieve a good life, we need to recognize our objective needs. Successful learning should bring illumination, which shows people that all objective values lie within them. Objective values eliminate alienation and enable people to live well. Such people live the best life possible. However, people who do not reach illumination still harm themselves and society. These individuals hinder societal progress.

I have devised a solution to escape social problems by implementing equal human rights. When people accept equal human rights, they learn to abandon the illusion of power and fame and adopt a natural way of living. Then they will find objective values. Equal human rights will build freedom, peace, joy, love, wisdom, and a good quality of life for everyone, unconditionally. Equal human rights will bring the most enjoyable life possible. Equal human rights will build a bright future for humankind.
